Laurie Washburne directs the overall vision and strategy of ePayment Express. She has extensive experience in the non-profit community, running events and fundraisers for schools, sports clubs and performing arts groups.
Laurie has worked as an Educational Consultant and Teacher in California and Oregon for more than 20 years. For the past decade, she has coached youth Lego robotics teams that win trophies at state tournaments.
Laurie holds a BA and MA from the University of California, San Diego. She lives in Portland, Oregon with her husband, Brent, and their three teenage sons.
Brent Washburne, Chief Technology Architect

Brent Washburne is responsible for the architecture, design & implementation of ePayment Express in the Google Cloud.
Brent has worked in start-ups and large tech companies in Silicon Valley and the Silicon Forest for more than 20 years. He has been an avid user of Open Source Software and has built five e-commerce websites using Open Source technologies. Brent is the Founder & President of Iron Mountain Foundry, an Open Source software consulting group; and WindChart, an investment website providing sophisticated stock charting tools & financial information for investors.
Brent holds a BA in Computer Science from the University of California, San Diego. He lives in Portland, Oregon and serves as Vice President of Portland Open Source Software Entrepreneurs (POSSE) and is a member of the Portland Linux Users Group (PLUG). Brent is also a world record-holding masters swimmer.
